Well if your willing to pay for Skyrim, than choose it. It is a more user-friendly game, and a better way to get into the series. After playing Skyrim, you will want to play Oblivion because Skyrim is so good. However, if you do it the other way around, you may find Oblivion more complicated and harder to get into.
