You should be fine. It's not a direct sequel, it just takes place in the same world. Obviously, if you play the others you'll already have some knowledge of the setting and you may be able to pick up on some of the little references, but I think that they've written the series so that people can pretty much pick it up at any point and get into it.

I dont think that wouldbe a problem. I played morrowind and oblivion and i can say they are quite differet. Its not like a fighting game that has similar moves with its predecessor
