Elder scolls V skyrim, DOES THIS GAME SUCK, or is it just me?

I'm looking for some feedback, if you like the game then say why you like it and reasons, if you don't like it then say why you don't like it and reasons. Pros vs cons please. (I personally played skyrim for about a week straight till I lost hope, still trying to find reasons to play it)

I personally thought skyrim was good but was disappointed in it overall.

Some ups/pros to it for me were.

-A new hack and slash game (I'm surprised I liked it for that reason hah!)

-lot's of quests

-master gameplay difficulty

-dragons and storyline (I feel like I'm pushing the envelope on this one)

-cause it was new

-cause it had/has so much hype

Reasons I didn't like it

downs/cons

-so many bugs that exploited and ruined the game

-the fact that you could get money back from followers making it easy to level up and train

-the main storyline being so short and having not one twist or turn to it

-the 1-8 slot action bar and not being able to see it at all times

-the fact that you have only 8 slots to be hot keyed via the action bar

-the action bar itself and how you need to favorite items, basically the overall gameplay of it slowing down gameplay

-the fact that there is so many items and it's not even worth grabbing things, yet you have to look at them strategically when playing on harder modes

-all the overkill on potions and items period

-overkill on dungeon drops and fun factor lost cause of not needing/can't pick everything up

-Once again the 1-8 action slot keys and how they correspond to potions to use for optimal gameplay that will slow you down by loading and scrolling through them and not having enough room to hot key

-The alchemy system and the abundant amount of useless potions there is (hot key and action bar once again not being able to utilize this feature for optimal gameplay)

-The whole game being called elder scrolls, meanwhile the scrolls don't justify it when many spells are just the same

-The master level gameplay difficulty setting and not being able to utilize all the potions and scrolls with hotkeys making it horrid to play (meaning the action slot is to small and not enough room for everything)

-the food/cooking and how little it restores, such a joke when playing on harder modes

-the access to health potions via alchemy or finding them in game while playing on master

-majority of the enchantment types being useless even while playing on master

The worst part for me personnaly is............

-Even with max speech, and pickpocket deeppockets perk, the entire balance of the economy is fail, item weight, item carrying capacity and available merchant currency amount being way out of sync, combined with followers and how you can take back your money from them. One would think that the max speech perks and deep pocket pickpocket perk would aid to this, but you find yourself running through not even picking up any armor/weapons, this gets even worse when your other skills/perks are upgraded like smithing, and being able to smith the best of the armors.

PS a lot of my friends don't really judge games and are like, well play something else then, meh i dunno, seriously i'm just asking why you like it or don't like it and want reasons why?Elder scolls V skyrim, DOES THIS GAME SUCK, or is it just me?
i play skyrim on 360 and i never had any of your problems you just want to voice your opinion and piss every one of with it please die
There are exploits in the game but how does its existence make it a bad game? It's your choice whether you choose to abuse it and if you choose not to, it shouldn't bother you. If you do abuse them, it's your own fault that you ruined the game for yourself.Elder scolls V skyrim, DOES THIS GAME SUCK, or is it just me?
I can see why you wouldn't like it but here's why I liked it

Pros:

1.****** dragons. I just found them pretty cool even though the animations weren't flawless the a.i. was really good.

2. The amount of detail the world had made for a particularly immersive environment

3. It was the sequel to many great games before it

4. The lore was interesting enough that even if it wasn't a game if read many books about the same subject.

5. The maany different questlines you could go on each with the fit into what the elder scrolls series has built so far.

6. The amount of time I could easily waste is enormous. I've spent about 150 hours and even though I've finished the questlines Im having fun just running around and dungeon diving. Though really this one could just show I have low standards of entertainment to be fair.

7. Werewolfism is tha ****. I haven't found a more satisfying experience than running faster than a horse scaring the **** out of people and ripping them to pieces effortlessly.

Cons:

1. The glitches are veeeery frustrating. Quests don't complete when they should. Werewolfism doesn't change me back unless I use the wait function. People and things can phase through the environment never to be seen again. **** like that that can break an experience, however immersive it is.

2.The main questlines was epic but for some reason it did leave something to be satisfied. It isn't a deal breaker because I can't think of anything specific but I walked away thinking **BIG *** SPOILER** "I went to heaven and still don't feel it was very epic." **SPOILER OVER**

3. The civil war questline. Nothing specific but I didn't like it.

Other than that is was and is a great game in my opinion just those glitches get under my skin a little to much and a little to jarringly.
The game was a disappointment.

Pros :
- Large immersive world ripe for true exploration.
- Lots of quests. From main story to factions to misc quests.

Cons :
- Game breaking bugs. For me its over 20 freezes and frequent jerking ''mini-lags''.
- The game follows the general dumbing down trend.
- Bare minimum gear (armor and weapons)
- One of the most boring combat experience i've ever played. You can't do anything without having to open the ridiculous favorties menu all the time to be able to do stuff. Compared to this the Oblivion wheel was great.
- Broken abilities. Some abilities are hugely overpowered.
- Shadow warrior. Once you have that , nothing else matters whatsoever. Game becomes a bore.
- Orc Berserk is trollishly overpowered.
- Enchanting is so OP that it effectively triples your weapon damage as well as being good enough to replace lock picking and pick picketing , among others. Pretty much forcing any build into deeply using this constellation.
- I have a hard time tolerating all the npc's spoken accents. Sure it takes place in some Scandinavian setting but still it's not a reason to butcher the language with which sounds more like an arabic accent than a nord's.
- I cannot understand why in 2011 there are still RPG games lacking a skill reset feature. (respec) And Skyrim is one of those.

Thoughts : This an impressive game world...But that's all it is. There is no game there.Elder scolls V skyrim, DOES THIS GAME SUCK, or is it just me?
It an awesome game. its just you
I have it for the 360 only time It "bugged" or "lagged" was from playing for days on end, also the customization and being able to do things my way is abig one and the weaponry is pritty awsome
its just you... its only bugs on PS3.. thats coz PS3 is for f*cking cheap a*s b|tches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
