In the new game skyrim how do you tell if your poisoned?

I am playing skyrim and though I dont think I am poisoned or diseased but my magika is low like i am so how do you get to a menu or screen so I can tell if I am or notIn the new game skyrim how do you tell if your poisoned?
Go into the magic menu. At the bottom there is "active effects". Red indicated poison//disease.
