Just started playing my brand new copy of Skyrim and both game sessions ended in a frustrating game freeze. Once when I attacked a chicken and again trying to walk outside. Is anyone else having this problem? I read it has issues withlarge files, but I'm not even level 2 yet.Why does Skyrim freeze every time I play it?
I had the same problem. I simply just turned off all autosave options in the settings. If you have the PS3, go to the saved data and delete all autosaves except for the one you want to keep and play. It fixed mine. The game freezes when there is to much data... I heard it also freezes after 40 hours of gameplay to, which i havent experienced.Why does Skyrim freeze every time I play it?
I was at level 1 when mine froze but it only happened to me once. I just restarted the PS3 and everything was fine.

it is a common glitch and it should have been fixed with patch 1.3
