I recently received skyrim for christmas and i would like to play it without needing the cd in the drive. I'm wondering if there is a way i can verify that i own the game on steam and then download directly from there, rather than having to insert the disc when i want to play it. thanksIs there a way to play a steam game installed from cd without needing the cd?
Did you create a Steam account? I got Fallout:New Vegas from a disk and I can play it and even re-download the game if I have to if I'm logged into my Steam account.
